Producers of Grease have announced the complete cast of their upcoming revival at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, starring reality TV personalities Max Crumm and Laura Osnes. Joining the cast are Ryan Patrick Binder as Doody, Susan Blommaert as Miss Lynch, Jeb Brown as Vince Fontaine, Stephen R. Buntrock as Teen Angel, Allison Fischer as Patty Simcox and Jamison Scott as Eugene. Previews for Grease, directed and choreographed by Tony winner Kathleen Marshall, start July 24 with an opening set for August 19.
Binder, who will make his Broadway debut, was seen in A Christmas Carol at the Theater at Madison Square Garden and in national tours of Mamma Mia! and West Side Story.
Another Broadway newcomer, Blommaert was seen off-Broadway in Measure for Pleasure, Fucking A, Mary Rose, Phaedra, Christina Alberta's Father, Reckless, Blue Window, The Gilded Cage, Last Summer at Bluefish Cove and Troilus and Cressida. She has also appeared regionally in such theaters as Arena Stage, Baltimore Center Stage, the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival and Yale Rep.
Brown was last seen on Broadway in High Fidelity. Other Broadway credits include Ring of Fire, Aida, I'm Not Rappaport, Bring Back Birdie and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
Former Broadway.com Fresh Face Fischer memorably played child vampire Claudia in Lestat at the Palace Theatre last season. She was previously seen in New York in A Christmas Carol, The Prince and the Pauper, Children's Letters to God, Violet and The Little Princess.
Scott's show credits include the Las Vegas companies of Hairspray and Saturday Night Fever.
Previously announced for Grease are Jenny Powers Little Women as Rizzo, Matthew Saldivar The Wedding Singer as Kenickie, Daniel Everidge as Roger, Robyn Hurder as Marty, Lindsay Mendez as Jan, Jose Restrepo as Sonny and Kirsten Wyatt as Frenchie.
Featured in the Grease ensemble will be Josh Franklin, Cody Green, Natalie Hill as Cha-Cha, Matthew Hydzik, Emily Padgett, Keven Quillon, Brian Sears, Christina Sivrich, Amber Stone and Anna Aimee White.
