Ten new cast members will join the Broadway company of A Chorus Line on July 24, according to producer John Breglio. The hit revival is playing at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theater, under the direction of its original Tony-winning co-choreographer, Bob Avian.
The newcomers are Nick Adams The Pirate Queen as Larry, Michael Gruber Swing! Kiss Me, Kate as Greg, Bryan Knowlton as Paul, Melissa Lone Mary Poppins as Maggie, J. Elaine Marcos The Wedding Singer, Sweet Charity as Connie, Krysta Rodriguez Spring Awakening, Good Vibrations as Bebe, Jason Patrick Sands Legally Blonde, The Producers as Don, Will Taylor La Cage aux Folles, 42nd Street as Bobby, Katherine Tokarz as Kristine and Kevin Worley 42nd Street, who began performances on July 3, as Al.
Remaining with the company are Michael Berresse Zach, Natalie Cortez Diana, Charlotte d'Amboise Cassie, Jessica Lee Goldyn Val, Deidre Goodwin Sheila, James T. Lane Richie, Paul McGill Mark, Heather Parcells Judy and Jeffrey Schecter Mike; the cast of 30 also includes Michelle Aravena, David Baum, Mike Cannon, E. Clayton Cornelious, Dena Digiacinto, Joey Dudding, Lyndy Franklin, Nadine Isenegger, Pamela Jordan, Jessica Lea Patty and Grant Turner.
A Chorus Line will launch a national tour at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts' Buell Theatre May 6-17, 2008. The tour will then settle in for a seven-week engagement at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles, May 21-July 6, 2008. Plans are underway for the show to visit Philadelphia, Portland, Costa Mesa, Seattle, Toronto and Washington, DC. in the 2008-2009 season.
