Broadway Revival of Pinter's The Homecoming Adjusts Dates

The forthcoming 40th anniversary revival of Harold Pinter's The Homecoming has taken on several new producers and adjusted its previously announced performance schedule at Broadway's Cort Theatre. The play, which will star Ian McShane, Raul Esparza and Michael McKean, will now begin previews on November 23 and open on December 9 for a 20-week limited engagement, through April 13, 2008. Daniel Sullivan is the director.

Winner of the 1967 Tony Award for Best Play, The Homecoming is an edgy and compelling tale of lust, betrayal and seduction, telling the story of a dysfunctional family that welcomes the homecoming of its estranged brother and competes for the attention of his dangerously alluring wife.

Joining lead producers Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel are Harold Thau, Ronald Frankel, Barbara Freitag, Herb Goldsmith, and Terry E. Schnuck. The design team will include Tony Award winners Eugene Lee for sets Wicked, Sweeney Todd, Candide, Kenneth Posner for lighting The Coast of Utopia, Hairspray, and Jess Goldstein The Rivals, Jersey Boys.
