Conceived and directed by Rob Ruggiero, Make Me a Song had announced an April 2007 opening at the Zipper Theater, which was cancelled due to unspecified scheduling difficulties. The original Hartford cast included Sandy Binion, Joe Cassidy, Adam Heller and Sally Wilfert with John DiPinto at the piano, all of whom had signed on for the aborted spring 2007 staging of the show. No casting has been announced for the New World Stages production.
The show will be produced off-Broadway by Junkyard Productions and Larry Hirschhorn in association with Jayson Raitt.
