Erin Davie to Join the Cast of Broadway's Curtains

Erin Davie has signed on to replace Jill Paice as ingénue Niki Harris in the Broadway production of Curtains, beginning February 15. Paice, who has been tapped to star in the new musical version of Gone with the Wind in London, will leave the show on February 3.

Davie arrives at Curtains after a big year: She made her Broadway debut as "Little" Edie Beale in the musical Grey Gardens and will reteam with Christine Ebersole in Encores! presentation of Applause, which will play at New York City Center from February 7 to 10. Most recently, she was featured in Lincoln Center Theater's off-Broadway production of the Flaherty & Ahrens musical The Glorious Ones. Davie appeared in the national tours of Swing! and The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber and in regional productions of Carousel, Jekyll & Hyde and The Student Prince.

In Curtains, Davie's character is the love interest of Lt. Frank Cioffi, played by the show's Tony-winning star, David Hyde Pierce. Curtains opened at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on March 22, 2007.
