Three-time Tony nominee Mary Beth Hurt will join previously announced Marisa Tomei, Martha Plimpton and Elizabeth Marvel to complete the cast of the upcoming Broadway premiere of Caryl Churchill's Top Girls. The play, directed by James Macdonald, will begin previews at the Manhattan Theatre Club's Biltmore Theatre on April 15 and open on May 7.
Hurt is returning to MTC after previously starring in Humble Boy and The Day Room. Her other theater credits include Benefactors Tony nomination, Crimes of the Heart Obie Award and Tony nomination, Trelawney of the Wells Tony nomination, A Delicate Balance, The Secret Rapture, The Misanthrope, Oblivion Postponed, One Shoe Off, Othello, As You Like It, Pericles and The Cherry Orchard.
