Manhattan Theatre Club's production of Itamar Moses' The Four of Us has extended its limited engagement at New York City Center Stage II through May 18. The play, which stars Gideon Banner and Michael Esper, opened on March 25, directed by Pam MacKinnon.
The Four of Us centers on a young writer named Benjamin Banner, whose first novel brings him literary success. His college friend David Esper, a struggling playwright, is thrilled for Benjamin's newfound success...or is he? The play examines friendship and memory and what happens when dreams come true—for your best friend.
