Tony Award-winning actress Julie White, currently starring in the off-Broadway production of From Up Here at Manhattan Theatre Club, will host the 23rd annual Lucille Lortel Awards, to be presented May 5 at the Union Square Theatre. The event is produced by the League of Off-Broadway Theatres and Producers and honor the year's best off-Broadway productions.
Julie White won a Best Actress Tony last year for The Little Dog Laughed and has appeared onstage in Fiction, The Heidi Chronicles, Dinner With Friends, Barbra's Wedding, Bad Dates, Spike Heels and The Family of Man. She was a regular on the TV series Caveman and Grace Under Fire and appeared in the feature films Michael Clayton, The Nanny Diaries and Transformers.
