Rosemarie DeWitt, Sarah Drew and Jessica Hecht will headline Williamstown Theatre Festival's production of Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters, translated by Paul Schmidt and directed by Michael Greif. This summer festival also marks the world premiere of Nathan Louis Jackson's Broke-ology, directed by Thomas Kail, who just received his first Tony nomination for In the Heights, his Broadway debut.
The Three Sisters cast also features Cassie Beck, Michael Cristofer, Cary Donaldson, Sarah Drew, Manoel Felciano, Jonathan Fried, Jessica Hecht, Stephen Kunken, Peter Maloney, Roberta Maxwell, Keith Nobbs and Joe Tippett. The creative team includes set design by Allen Moyer, costume design by Clint Ramos, lighting design by Ken Posner, sound design by Walter Trarbach and original music by Michael Friedman.
The Broke-ology cast features Francois Battiste Prelude to a Kiss, Gaius Charles TV's Friday Night Lights, Wendell Pierce the series The Wire, the movie Ray and April Yvette Thompson Lucille Lortel and Drama Desk Nominee for Liberty City, The Exonerated. The creative team includes set design by Donyale Werle, costume design by Emily Rebholz, lighting design by Howell Binkley and sound design by Jill DuBoff.
Three Sisters runs July 16 through 27. Broke-ology runs July 9 through 20.
