Spring Awakening Stars to Perform at SoHo Apple Store

Past and present cast members of the Broadway musical Spring Awakening will perform at the Apple Store in SoHo on August 8 at 7PM. Original cast members John Gallagher Jr. a Tony winner as Moritz and Lauren Pritchard Ilsa will join current cast member Alexandra Socha Wendla, upcoming Melchior Hunter Parrish Weeds and composer Duncan Sheik for a special live set. The event will be recorded for the Live from SoHo series, an iTunes exclusive.

Previous Live from SoHo sessions have featured artists such as the Decemberists, Maroon 5, Linkin Park, Counting Crows and Taylor Swift.

Winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, Spring Awakening also won a Grammy for Best Musical Show Album. The Broadway production continues its run at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre, directed by Michael Mayer.
