Dee Pelletier and Scott Jaeck are joining the cast of Tracy Letts' August: Osage County. Pelletier and Jaeck will assume the roles of Ivy Weston and Sheriff Deon Gilbeau, respectively, starting October 14. They replace Sally Murphy and Troy West, who’ve both been with the play since its Chicago premiere in August 2007 and will reprise their roles in the upcoming London production.
Pelletier’s previous New York credits include Bug at the Barrow Street Theatre, Speaking in Tongues for the Roundabout Theatre Co., The Erotica Project at Joe’s Pub, and The Seven Deadly Sins at NYC Opera. Her regional credits include The Price at the Delaware Theatre Co., The Syringa Tree at the Kitchen Theatre, and Hamlet and Hedda Gabler at the Shakespeare Theatre. On television, she has appeared on Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and Third Watch.
Jaeck has previously appeared on Broadway in Night of the Iguana for the Roundabout Theatre Company. He has appeared regionally at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Goodman Theatre, Alliance Theatre, Pasadena Playhouse, Indianapolis Rep., Milwaukee Rep., Victory Gardens Theatre and Northlight Theatre, among others. England: Royal Shakespeare Co. Film credits include the upcoming The Lucky Ones and Washington Square. Television credits include Prison Break, Charmed, ER, Seinfeld and various Star Treks. Jaeck is married to August cast member Mariann Mayberry, who plays Karen.
