Ethan Hawke has joined the 9th annual Barn Series, the first of two annual festivals of free staged readings presented by the LAByrinth Theater Company. Hawke joins a roster of performers that includes LAB members Eric Bogosian, Elizabeth Canavan, Max Casella, John Doman, Kevin Geer, Didi O'Connell, John Ortiz, Portia, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Michael Stuhlbarg, Yul Vázquez and David Zayas among others. Free and open to the public, the readings continue through November 15 at the Public Theater.

LAByrinth Theater Company began its seventeenth season in July, when its members workshopped 37 new plays during the two-week Summer Intensive, at Bennington College in Vermont. LAB Company Members and invited guests used the workshops to select 12 plays for the Barn Series festival.
