Tituss Burgess, Jenn Colella and a slew of Broadway entertainers have signed on for “Broadway Backwards,” the annual event that features singers performing well-known musical theater songs written for the opposite sex. Benefitting the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center, this year’s show will be held on February 9 at Broadway’s American Airlines Theatre, directed by Robert Bartley, with Musical Direction by Paul Staroba.
In addition to Burgess and Colella, new additions include Nancy Anderson, Jenna Coker-Jones, Jessica Lee Goldyn, Deidre Goodwin, Jose Llana and Kirsten Wyatt.
They join previously announced cast members Sandra Bernhard, Mario Cantone, Len Cariou, Alan Cumming, Gina Gershon, Whoopi Goldberg, Florence Henderson, Cheyenne Jackson, Aaron Lazar, Rue McClanahan, Maureen McGovern, Sally Mayes, Becki Newton, Ron Palillo, Jai Rodriguez, Christopher Sieber, John Tartaglia, Marty Thomas, Tony Yazbeck and Michael Urie.
