Emmy-winning, Tony-nominated actor Bobby Cannavale and Broadway vet Sarah Paulson, already starring opposite one another on the upcoming ABC series Cupid, will hit the stage together in stageFARM’s world premiere of playwright Mark Schultz’s The Gingerbread House. The production, directed by Alex Kilgore, will begin performances on April 11 at Rattlestick Playwright’s Theatre and open there on April 18.
In addition to Cannavale Mauritius, Hurlyburly and Paulson The Glass Menagerie, The Sisters Rosensweig, the complete cast features Jason Butler Harner The Coast of Utopia, Juno and the Paycock, Jackie Hoffman Xanadu, Chanukah at Joe’s Pub and Ben Rappaport Willamstown Theatre’s Paradise Now.
In Schultz’s darkly comic Gingerbread House, Brian and Stacey want a better life, the life they deserve. However, what they’re willing to do to get it will destroy their family, rip them apart… and finally get them into “the Club.”
The Gingerbread House will feature sets by John McDermott, lighting by Ben Stanton, costumes by Jessica Wegener, sound by Zane Birdwell and video/projections by Richard DiBella.
