CBS Early Show co-anchor and Broadway booster Harry Smith will serve as emcee for the upcoming Visa Signature Tony Awards Preview Concert. Among those scheduled to perform: Guys and Dolls dames Lauren Graham and Kate Jennings Grant; Gavin Creel and the hirsute cast of Hair; West Side Story’s star-crossed lovers Matt Cavenaugh and Josefina Scaglione; Stephanie J. Block, one of 9 to 5’s sassy secretaries; Billy Elliot’s plucky grandma Carole Shelley; Next to Normal’s dysfunctional family members Alice Ripley, Jennifer Damiano and Aaron Tveit; Rock of Ages’ big-haired duo Constantine Maroulis and Amy Spanger; and Shrek’s trio of Fionas—Sutton Foster, Leah Greenhaus and Marissa O’Donnell.
The Tony Awards will be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall on CBS on Sunday, June 7, at 8 pm.
