Amra-Faye Wright has played the role of Velma Kelly in Chicago worldwide since 2001, and on Broadway and the West End since 2005, including both 10th anniv. productions, and in Japan in Japanese. She received the Naledi and Fleur du Cap Awards (South Africa’s Tony equivalent). Credits include: UK: Vi Moore in Footloose; South Africa: Sandy in Grease, Sheila in A Chorus Line, Mother Superior/ in Nunsense, Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk, Mrs. Darling in Peter Pan, Star in Viva Sun City, Lead in Elvis Las Vegas (Vita Award) and musical extravaganzas throughout the world. Solo shows include It’s Not Where I Start (Vita Award), Drinks on Me, Rouge Pulp (Vita Award), Sittin’ on Top of the World.
