After being a finalist in the NBC competition series Grease: You’re the One That I Want, Spencer replaced Laura Osnes as Sandy in the show's 2007 Broadway revival. Additional Broadway credits include Hairspray, Priscilla Queen of the Desert and Rock of Ages. Spencer is engaged to Newsies star (and Rock of Ages alum) Jeremy Jordan.
