Politician, actor and attorney Fred Dalton Thompson represented Tennessee in the U.S. Senate from 1994 to 2003. During his final term, Thompson joined the cast of Law & Order as D.A. Arthur Branch. His additional film and TV credits include The Good Wife, Alleged and Secretariat. He made his Broadway debut in A Time to Kill.
