Prior to The Nap, John Ellison Conlee has performed at Manhattan Theater Club in Murder Ballad, The Madrid and The Green Heart. His recent theater credits include Venus, Tumacho and The (curious case of the) Watson Intelligence (2014 Obie Award). Recent film/TV credits include LBJ, My America, Ned Rifle, Billions, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Boardwalk Empire (SAG Award nomination). He has been seen on Broadway in The Full Monty (Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics nominations), The Constant Wife and 1776. Off-Broadway credits include Pig Farm (Roundabout), Ethan Lipton’s Luther (Clubbed Thumb), The Butter and Egg Man, The Bald Soprano (Atlantic) and Encores! versions of Assassins and Anyone Can Whistle. He received his MFA from NYU.
