Harold Pinter, winner of the Noble Prize for Literature, has two plays running at off-Broadway's Atlantic Theater. The double-bill of one-acts opens with
Celebration, Pinter's most recent work, which has one out of three couples celebrating a wedding anniversary at a chic restaurant.
The Room, Pinter's first play, opens the second act into a London flat where insecurities and uncertainties arise.
Celebration and The Room opened on December 5 with a cast full of stage regulars and Atlantic Artistic Director Neil Pepe at the helm. After the opening night performance, the company headed to Earth for a toast and a celebration.
