A Fun-Filled Opening for Under the Bridge

Former talk show queen Kathie Lee Gifford has turned her energy to musical theater once again. This time, Gifford isn't performing, however. She's written a new family-friendly show with composer David Pomeranz, which opened at the Zipper Theatre on January 6. Under the Bridge is based on the Newbery Medal-winning book The Family Under the Bridge and follows Armand, a hobo in 1953 Paris who reluctantly surrenders his solitary life when he finds that a homeless family has taken shelter beneath "his bridge."
