A Happening Bash for Hurlyburly
Director Scott Elliott assembled a hipper than thou lineup of stars for the revival of Hurlyburly, David Rabe's sex and coke-fueled look at Hollywood in the '80s. And it worked! The New Group production was so popular that is has moved to 37 Arts for a commercial run. The cast, which is composed of Ethan Hawke, Parker Posey, Bobby Cannavale, Josh Hamilton, Catherine Kellner, Wallace Shawn and newcomer Halley Wegryn Gross, reopened their hot show on April 20. The company and a starry bunch of fans partied at Aer after the performance.
