Manhattan Theatre Club's newest offering,
Moonlight and Magnolias, imagines the carrying on that might of occurred during the fraught and feverish period of writing the screenplay for the legendary movie
Gone with the Wind. A quartet of actors take on the roles of real--though embellished--figures and five days of frenzied creation. After the opening night performance of the comedy, which was written by Ron Hutchinson and directed by MTC Artistic Director Lynne Meadow, the company headed to the Beacon to relax and enjoy their success.
