A Party Fit for King Lear!
"How sharper than a serpent's tooth it is to have a thankless child!" King Lear famously proclaims. However, you will only find thankful audiences at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre at Lincoln Center where the venerable Christopher Plummer opened in King Lear on March 4. To celebrate the marriage of a great performer to one of Shakespeare's greatest roles, the cast and company raised a glass at Avery Fisher Hall after the performance. Here, here!
