A Recipe for Fun: The 2005 BC/EFA Flea Market
What do you get when you mix a Sunday in September, a gazillion Broadway and off-Broadway stars, even more excited fans and a lot of stuff that you never knew you needed but you suddenly must have? The answer could only be the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Flea Market and Grand Auction, which took place this year on September 25. The charity raised $544,037 for a terrific cause. As usual, the Broadway.com team was on hand--and this year we raised more money than ever before for BC/EFA. We had a lot of help from our friends, including trooper Andy Karl of off-Broadway's Slut, who caused a mini riot among fans when he stopped by our table to sign some exclusive (and provocative) posters.
