A Starry Opening for La Bohème
The opening of La Bohème on Broadway on December 8 brought together the world of theater, opera and film. Director Baz Luhrmann and his Oscar-winning wife, Catherine Martin, created a glorious theatrical spectacle as the backdrop to Puccini's famous opera of love and loss. A glittering array of stars came out to salute the production, which marks the first score to be sung in Italian on the Great White Way.
