Richard Alfieri's
Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks had a long road to Broadway, but it was all smooth sailing when the two-hander opened on the Great White Way on October 29. The playwright, director Arthur Allan Seidelman, and stars Polly Bergen and Mark Hamill were toasted and air-kissed like you wouldn't believe at the opening night party at Sardi's. There wasn't a dance floor, but the actors (who play a lonely Florida retiree and the crotchety dance instructor she hires) still looked ready to mambo.
