Years ago composer Frank Wildhorn began working on a series of recordings (entitled The Romantics) of mini-musicals about famous couples throughout time. Camille Claudel was the first show to be developed from this process, and now there is another one--Waiting for the Moon. The tuner tells the story of legends F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald, stars big Broadway talents Lauren Kennedy and Jarrod Emick, and reunites Wildhorn with his Civil War collaborator Jack Murphy. How is that for exciting? So even though the show is playing at the little-known Lenape Regional Performing Arts Center in Marlton, New Jersey, Broadway.com had to check it out. We caught all the excitement on opening night, July 20.
