Actors' Fund of America Annual Gala Brings Out Stars
The Actors' Fund of America held their annual gala, There's No Business Like Show Business at Cipriani 42nd Street on May 23. On the schedule were a series of tributes--700 Sundays star Billy Crystal received the Artistic Achievement Award from Yankee Joe Torre, producer Roger Berlind received the Medal of Honor from Brian Stokes Mitchell and Neil Sedaka saw Broadway stars Mary Bond Davis, Cheyenne Jackson and Orfeh sing a series of his legendary pop hits. Also honored were Phyllis Newman and John McGuire of the Screen Actors Guild.
