After the Fall's Starry Opening

A blues club is actually a step up in mood for the company of After the Fall, so the opening night party at B.B. King's Blues Club on July 29 was a cheery one. The semi-autobiographical Arthur Miller play probes deeply into the psyche of its main character, Quentin, as he mentally dredges his past in search of understanding for the present. Playing a tormented character is nothing new to headliner Peter Krause, who is best known as Nate Fisher on HBO's Six Feet Under. Even more reason for Krause and his co-stars--including Carla Gugino, Jessica Hecht and Vivienne Benesch--to kick back and let someone else sing the blues for a while. Didn't catch the smiles on the cast members' faces? No need for tears--Broadway.com got it all on film. Take a look!
