It's all Greek to the Aquila Theatre Company! They are presenting Agamemon, starring everybody's favorite Greek mama Olympia Dukakis as Clytemnestra and her real-life hubby Louis Zorich as Agamemnon. As everyone (well, almost everyone) learned in tenth grade English class, Agamemnon is the powerful Greek tragedy that begins at the end of the 10-year Trojan War and follows its title character's victorious return home. The play explores the timeless themes of justice, revenge, retribution, gender roles, politics and power. On a much happier note, there was a big fat Greek cast celebration at Gus's Place on Thursday, February 5 to explore an even more timeless theme: plenty of food, drinks and oompahs to toast the event.
