Alan Cumming Celebrates Photos; Remembers Natasha
If you want to get up close and personal with a Tony winner, then head to the Chashama Gallery on 44th Street, where you can see the many faces of Alan Cumming. Cumming, who won a Tony in 1998 for Cabaret, is featured in a photography exhibition there called “Alan & Me.” The exhibit, which runs through April 3, displays the actor’s seven-year collaboration with photographer Francis Hills. As a tribute to Cumming’s Cabaret co-star Natasha Richardson, who tragically died on March 18, Hills is displaying a dazzling portrait of the Tony-winning actress. Proceeds will be donated to amfAR, the American Foundation for AIDS Research, a charity near to Richardson’s heart and for which she worked tirelessly.
