All Hail Chita at the New Dramatists Luncheon
Everybody's favorite Broadway leading lady, Chita Rivera, was honored with the 2006 Career Achievement Award at the New Dramatists benefit luncheon on May 18. The annual fund-raising event salutes an artist who has made an outstanding contribution to the American theater. A large crowd of theatrical notables turned out at the Marriott Marquis' Broadway Ballroom to toast the divine Ms. R, with special tributes offered by Ben Vereen and Rosie O'Donnell.
