What do 9 to 5's Allison Janney and [title of show]'s Susan Blackwell have in common other than being Broadway babes? Well, not only do they both hail from Dayton, Ohio, but back in the day, Blackwell used to work with Janney's mom, Macy, at a local student arts organization called the Muse Machine. A diligent contributor in those days, Blackwell became the first recipient of the Macy Janney Award. But she'd never even met the woman's successful actress of a daughter until... well, until these pics were snapped. Blackwell's [tos] castmate Hunter Bell didn't say Janney and another notable guest, Jennifer Westfeldt, were coming until after their curtain call—a surprise that triggered a little freaking out on Blackwell's part.
