Beginning March 30 at the 59E59 Theatre, Academy Award nominee Amy Irving will be back on the Gotham boards, starring in the one-woman play, A Safe Harbor for Elizabeth Bishop, about the life of the Pulitzer Prize-winning poet. Irving, who is the daughter of two Broadway veterans, actress Priscilla Pointer and director Jules Irving, last appeared in New York at off-Broadway's CSC in Ghosts in 2002. During a rehearsal break from A Safe Harbor, Irving and her director Richard Jay-Alexander took a few minutes for our camera. Have a look.
