Au Revoir, Les Miserables!

On May 18 Les Miserables bid au revoir to audiences after 16 years and 6,680 performances, locking in its current spot as the second longest-running musical in Broadway history, just behind Cats. The final performance was by invitation only and so the audience was filled with former cast members, many of whom are currently spread across Broadway in new shows. Producer Cameron Mackintosh was on hand at the curtain call along with plenty of original cast members to sing the show out into Broadway history. Afterwards they lifted a glass the famed musical's long run with a party atop the Rockefeller Center skating rink and reminisced about 16 years of memories. Check out our photos of the bittersweet closing night.
