Backstage at the 12th Annual Nothing Like a Dame Benefit Concert
The 12th annual Nothing Like a Dame concert took over New York's Marquis Theatre to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and the Actors' Fund's Phyllis Newman Women's Heath Initiative with a dazzling line-up of talent on March 19. The packed house (which raised $300,000 for the charity) ate up the efforts of such Broadway leading ladies as Liz Callaway, Ana Gasteyer, Maureen McGovern, Lynn Redgrave and the Tony-winning trio of Lea Salonga, Beth Leavel and original Dreamgirl Jennifer Holliday.
