Benefitting The Actors' Fund, Brian Stokes Mitchell Debuts at Carnegie Hall

It's not many organizations whose president can get onstage and sing a three hour concert at Carnegie Hall. In fact, there's probably only one: the President of The Actors' Fund, Brian Stokes Mitchell. And on Monday, October 15, that's exactly what the Tony Award-winning star did to benefit his invaluable organization. Backed by a 43-piece orchestra, Mr. Mitchell's booming baritone wowed the star-studded crowd with a roster of songs from his Broadway career as the leading man of Ragtime, Man of La Mancha and Kiss Me, Kate, as well as classics from the American Songbook. Glamorous duet guests included Phylicia Rashad, Heather Headley, Reba McEntire and the Broadway Inspirational Voices.
