Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson & Anika Noni Rose Attend NY Premiere of Dreamgirls

It became a sensation when it opened on Broadway in 1981. And if the standing ovations during and after its world premiere at New York's Ziegfeld Theatre on December 4th are any indication, director/writer Bill Condon's screen adaptation of Henry Krieger's Motown-fueled musical Dreamgirls will be a mega-hit at the multiplex this Christmas. Meanwhile, at the movie musical's gala premiere, such Broadway and Hollywood celebrities as Hugh Jackman, Natasha Richardson, Liam Neeson and Danny Glover mingled with Dreamgirls' stars Beyonce Knowles, Jamie Foxx, Eddie Murphy, Caroline or Change's Tony-winning Anika Noni Rose and the former American Idol contestant, Jennifer Hudson, whose screen performance of "And I Am Telling You, I Am Not Going" made the opening night crowd stand and cheer.
