Big River Ready for B'way Return

Adapted from the classic Mark Twain stories of Huckleberry Finn, Big River was a big hit back when it opened on Broadway in the mid-80s. The Roundabout's brand-new production of the show is more than just a revival--it's a special production with Deaf West Theatre, combining spoken English, American Sign Language (and some big-time singing--check out the cast list!) to tell this timeless tale. We caught up with the stars at a special press-only rehearsal in Times Square on June 18. Big River starts performances at the American Airlines Theatre on July 1.
