Big Stars Raise Big Bucks at 21st BC/EFA Flea Market
With a gorgeously warm day on their side, the companies of practically every show in town took to Shubert Alley on Sunday, September 23, to pitch in and fund raise at the 21st annual Broadway Cares/Equity Frights AIDS Flea Market. Job well done, folks: the event raised a total of $559,810.. As in years past, the Flea Market drew huge crowds looking to purchase unique theatrical memorabilia, as well as meet big name Broadway stars selling autographed programs and taking pictures with fans for a price.
