Seth Rudetsky would have a hard time topping last season's all-theater-star concert version of Dreamgirls, which was a big money raiser for the Actors' Fund (and snagged the Broadway.com Audience Award for Favorite Special Event), but he's coming pretty close with his September 23 Funny Girl night. Featuring almost all of our favorite theater divas singing the legendary songs of the smash that made Barbra Streisand a star, Funny Girl (again benefitting the Actors' Fund) is sure to be a great night of theater. On September 9, Broadway.com was invited down to the GQ Lounge in Greenwich Village for a sneak peek with participating Fanny Brices Carolee Carmello, Ricki Lake, Idina Menzel, Julia Murney and Lillias White. The ladies tore the roof off the small venue with their brassy belting. Look for all of that and more when Funny Girl returns to Broadway for one night only.
