Broadway Bares XVII Myth Behaves at Roseland
Setting a record high of raising 743,787 bucks, the 17th annual Broadway Bares benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS played to capacity crowds during its two-show night at Roseland on Sunday, June 17. With its exotic Greek theme in a show entitled Myth Behavior the lavish burlesque-style revue featured such guest stars as Tony winners Bebe Neuwirth, Harvey Fierstein and Curtains' newly bestowed Best Actor in a Musical David Hyde Pierce, as well as an astonishingly gorgeous, game and talented cast of over 200 gypsies from Broadway and beyond—wearing, of course, nearly nothing.
