Broadway for Life Celebrates Awareness... and Rent
A fabulous line-up of Broadway talents from the casts of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Fiddler on the Roof, Sweet Charity, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Lion King and The Phantom of the Opera came together on August 4 in Bryant Park for Broadway for Life. A concert to raise awareness for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Dancers Responding to AIDS, the event was hosted by Spamalot's Christopher Sieber and also offered the crowd a chance to get a glimpse of the cast of the upcoming film of Rent.
