Broadway Stars Unplug for Quilts for Kids
Wicked green girl Shoshana Bean turned chatterbox for charity by enlisting a score of cast mates and friends in the community to take part in Broadway Unplugged at the Central Presbyterian Church April 4. The concert, which benefited Quilts for Kids, a non-profit organization that saves discarded fabrics to make handmade quilts for children who are facing life-threatening illness, was a huge success. There were many famous faces in attendance as well as quilts on the auction block from some of Broadway's biggest names--Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg, Harvey Fierstein, Christina Applegate and more.
