Thanks to the hard work of diva Arlene Dahl and the support of the City of New York, Broadway will soon have its own walk of fame to rival Hollywood! Dahl recently talked up Gotham's next tourist attraction at a special reception at the home of producer Marty Richards. To kick off the walk, composer Jerry Herman presented the first star to legend
Carol Channing, who was in town promoting her new Simon & Schuster memoir. Channing was a treat as she emotionally thanked the assembled crowd for the honor and tipped her hat to all of the Broadway stars who didn't live to see this day. Viva la diva!
