Broadway might be dark (for the most part) on Monday night, but many familiar faces lit up the stage at Symphony Space on October 6. The event was Broadway in South Africa: The Concert, which raised funds for a new non-profit geared toward cross-cultural exchanges between youths in need and professional artists by way of workshop/performance initiatives in South Africa. The night’s talent included Eden Espinosa, Adam Kantor and Billy Porter, to name just a few. All sang BSA-commissioned songs written by the likes of Jeremy Shonfeld, Tom Kitt and many, many more. The show was but a mere prelude to BSA’s big mission: a pilgrimage to South Africa in January. Click on to see your favorite Broadway stars sing out for South Africa!
