B'way Cruises the Caribbean with R Family Vacations
A boatload of Broadway stars sailed the high seas from July 11-18 to take part in the inaugural trip of R Family Vacations, a new company dedicated to developing gay and lesbian family-friendly travel programming. The company is the brainchild of Broadway baby Rosie O'Donnell and wife Kelli O'Donnell as well as travel industry insider Gregg Kaminsky. For R Family Vacation's first cruise aboard the Norwegian Cruise Line's majestic Norwegian Dawn, more than 1,600 passengers (including 450 children) enjoyed ports of call in Florida and the Bahamas and non-stop on-ship activities including guest speakers, seminars and Broadway-class entertainment from a knock-out line-up of talent.
