Bye, Bye, Nanette: Encores! Finishes the Season with Spring Gala

Broadway's best said yes to No, No, Nanette at the show's benefit performance May 12, braving the pouring rain to celebrate New York City Center Encores!' 2008 Spring Gala. The event, featured Nanette stage favorites Sandy Duncan, Charles Kimbrough, Michael Berresse and Rosie O'Donnell (among many others), and it attracted droves of theater supporters. They enjoyed a night of wanton women, flirty flappers and catchy classic tunes like "Tea for Two." The gala also celebrated board member Douglas S. Cramer, who was given an award for his work with New York City Center by Encores! stage veteran and Gypsy powerhouse Patti LuPone. Following the show, the revelers moved to Seppi's Restaurant to continue an evening of lighthearted fun.
