Broadway stars gathered on April 4 for the National Corporate Theatre Fund's annual gala, celebrating theaters across the country, and of course, this year's award winners. At this black tie affair, held at Essex House, NCTF's Chairman James Buckley honored writer Chris Campbell (Palace Production Center), director Gordon Davidson (Mark Taper Forum, Kirk Douglas Theatres) and two-time Tony winner John Lithgow, currently starring in
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
Spamalot's David Hyde Pierce, Anna Deavere Smith and Rosalyn and Irwin Engelman presented the awards with Jane Curtin emceeing the event, which included a special performance by
The Light in the Piazza's Kelli O'Hara.
